Our Background

Academy of Training and Development - Eastern Cape has grown from strength to strength providing quality & accredited tertiary education to thousands of young people of the Eastern Cape Province. All of our Qualifications and Skills programmes are Unit Standard based accredited and registered by the South African Qualification Authority (SAQA), carefully identified and chosen because of their rich vocational component that adequately prepare learners for either getting employment in the formal sector, continue with higher education or enable the recipients to start self-empowering micro-economic projects

Our Goals and Objectives

Play a significant role towards supplementing government's efforts of alleviating skills-gaps and unemployment by providing affordable, quality & accredited education & training which bridges the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical experience in the world of work. Pursuing rigorous research in the labor market to ensure that our accredited programmes, teaching and learning remain relevant to the priorities of employers. Promoting students' business acumen and self-reliance by imparting skills & knowledge necessary for students to conceive own micro-economic business enterprises and ventures.

Our Commitment to Social Responsibility

We are commitment to & take participate in social programmes that are sensitive and effective the most vulnerable population of our communities. Pursuant to our commitment we offer 6 bursaries annually to less privileged & and are involved in HIV/AIDS awareness campaigns, seminars and workshops. This is in recognition of the fact that the HIV/AIDS pandemic is a scourge with unequaled magnitude in the history of mankind and hence needs concerted efforts to fight it. We also perform continuous Career guidance and counseling to all our students.
